Floating shelves are becoming more popular everyday. We provide the wood to build your own floating shelf or we build custom floating shelves for you. By using reclaimed barn wood you will get the unique character in your shelves to make any room come to life.
Shelves are available in nearly any size you can image. Common thicknesses are
1 inch thick
2 inch thick
3 inch thick
4 inch thick
Each shelf is cut to your desired length and most widths are attainable.
ATTACHING FLOATING SHELVES
There are essentially two ways to attach floating shelves to the wall.
Inner floating shelf brackets – These are designed so you can not see any portion of the bracket and the shelf looks like it is coming out of the wall without any support. Hints the term “floating shelves”.
Decorative shelf brackets – When installed properly these will give the shelf the aesthetic appearance you are looking for as well as supporting the shelf. The brack is visible.
Keep in mind to always follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Make sure to double check the weight limit that the floating shelf brackets can hold including the weight of the shelf.
